At Isshin-an, a serene teahouse nestled in the heart of Arashiyama, Kyoto, you can experience the art of Omotesenke-style Japanese tea ceremony.
In this tranquil setting, guests not only observe the refined movements of the tea ritual, but also gain insights into its history and etiquette. Surrounded by the seasonal beauty of Arashiyama, you’ll be transported into the world of chanoyu—a tradition once cherished by samurai as a way to connect hearts and minds.
This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in one of Japan’s most refined cultural practices.
