Inside Osaka City Centre Public Hall, a building with a rich history built in a traditional European style is the Nakanoshima Club restaurant. Try a morning sandwich to start the day off right. The area is also perfect for a morning jog.

Try the Osaka River Cruise that takes you to Osaka Castle, where inside the Main Tower is a museum full of precious exhibits documenting Osaka’s history. Or, ride the subway to Shinsaibashi Station, where a plethora of luxury brand stores is located. You might also enjoy a stroll along Orange Street to window-shop for small items or interior goods. At Namba area, you will find lots of restaurants on Dotombori street where you can always find a tasty meal. A takeout plate of takoyaki (octopus dumplings) for your walk might be just the call. If you want to buy some fresh seafood or vegetables, the place to go is the Kuromon Ichiba Market in Nippombashi.

The puppets, with their lifelike movements, are a great treasure both to Osaka and the world. Return to the Kita area and ride the HEP Five Ferris Wheel for a special night view across Osaka that you will never forget. If you get hungry, you can easily find great food here, too. There is everything from popular, local shops selling kushikatsu (skewers dipped in breadcrumbs and deep-fried) to lavish restaurants on the top floors of skyscrapers. The nightlife of Kitashinchi is close by to round out an exciting night.
