We are delighted to welcome Mr. Haga, Brand Ambassador for Nikka Whisky, as our guest speaker for this very special whisky seminar, celebrating three of Nikka’s most distinguished expressions Taketsuru, Yoichi, and Miyagikyo.

Guests will have the pleasure of tasting all six expressions, including the currently available NV Series, the limited-edition Yoichi 10 Year Old and Miyagikyo 10 Year Old, and the highly sought-after Taketsuru 21 Year Old, which was sadly discontinued in 2020 due to a shortage of aged malt. A secret item will also be presented on the evening.

Tomoyuki Haga

Mr. Haga is the Whisky Ambassador (9th generation) of Nikka Whisky Co., Ltd., part of the Asahi Group, based in the Japan Business Division. After helping establish a specialist importer of Australian wine and working in sales for a foreign-affiliated importer, he joined Asahi Breweries in 2002, where he built a broad career spanning hotel account sales, business planning, sales strategy, marketing and a divisional director role. He has been with Nikka Whisky since April 2026. He holds the Whisky Professional and Whisky Lecturer qualifications (both certified by the Whisky Culture Research Institute), as well as Senior Sommelier certification from the Sommeliers Association of Japan. He is widely active as one of Japan’s leading whisky experts
