Michiko Hayashi is a mezzo-soprano of exceptional talent and acclaim, having studied at Tokyo College of Music before pursuing advanced training in Munich as a recipient of a Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs fellowship. She received the highest award at the 2003 International Mitropoulos Vocal Competition and was honoured with the 5th Hotel Okura Music Prize.
A celebrated presence at Nikikai and the New National Theatre Tokyo, she has performed alongside renowned conductors including Myung-Whun Chung and Paavo Järvi. She also produced Mozart’s Da Ponte trilogy herself, cementing her reputation as one of Japan’s most distinguished and versatile mezzo-sopranos.
Maho Ishino studied piano at Toho Gakuen School of Music before furthering her training as a correpetiteur under Sabine Vatan at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where she also performed in numerous concerts. Upon returning to Japan, she went on to work with leading opera companies and venues including Nikikai, the New National Theatre Tokyo, Lake Biwa Hall, and Nissay Theatre, earning the trust and admiration of many vocalists.
She currently serves as pianist at the Nikikai Opera Studio and the New National Theatre Opera Studio, whilst also performing as the official accompanist for the Shizuoka International Opera Competition and as a harpsichordist — demonstrating her versatility across a wide range of musical roles.

- Reservations can be modified or canceled up to 4 days prior to the event. Cancellations made within 3 days of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee, while cancellations made within 2 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
